Spiders

Well, it's that time of year again. It is the time for spiders.... even though we still have 5 feet of snow... the spiders have awoken. I am terrified of spiders, and am NOT excited about this! Luckily I have cats that will kill them for me... but still... It's creepy. Anyway... life goes on. I chopped my hair off... yeppers... I probably won't post pictures... haha.

Multi-tasking

I have figured out the true art of multi-tasking (is that a hyphenated word?) As I was driving my student home today, I got a phone call from another client who was in a "crisis". While I was talking them through their "crisis", I was teaching the client in my car how to spell "already, because, small, sausage, and together", as well as paying attention to the road, and trying to figure out my schedule for this semester... I was probably driving in both lanes... but I got it all worked out! I am taking 2 classes next semester. Theories of Personality and Mental Health Counseling... Yay. I got an A in my addictions class... which I probably have already said like 10 million times. So yeah... The "crisis" is over, the kid got home, and I didn't wreck! It is funny though, because the student that I was driving home asked me to read a letter to him... HAHA, while I was driving!!! I was like... um, no... I can't read and drive... but I swear it is going to come down to that. I am too dang busy! I need 5 or 6 more hands and a coffee I.V.! I need a vacation!

Easter weekend

Happy Easter! I have had a pretty chill weekend... My mom and I have been sick... so it has been pretty quiet around here. I woke up this morning to an Easter basket! I got a new game for my DS, bubbles, candy, and a People magazine. Yeah, it's pretty cool. My mom and I made a shirmp boil and jello cake for dinner. They were pretty darn yummy... Um... Not much new is going on really. I am working hard like always (or is it hardly workin'??)

Oh, I watched Martian Child... It was wayyy good. My kitties watched the whole thing... Pictures to prove it!

Roxy watched this whole movie! She loved it!!!

Another angry blog

I don't want my blog to become an endless source of ranting and raving... but sometimes you gotta do it!
I needed to get a new phone, so I went onto ebay to search for something. I found a pretty nice deal, the seller had great feedback ratings, etc... so I bought the phone. It took 2 weeks to ship to me!!!! THEN, I get it today, and the "NEW" phone was REALLY worn out. There was a lot of scratches and stuff. So, I leave negative feedback for the purchase, and I recieve an e-mail in return that says "Why the negative feedback, please withdrawal Thanks". What?? So I go to check my feedback and he says, "
WARNING! BUYER LEAVES NEG. F/B! AVOID AND CANCEL HER BIDS! WILL RUIN YOUR REPUT.
Message from seller:
PLEAES AGREE TO THIS SO THAT NEG. FEEDBACK GIVEN TO YOU WILL BE WITHDRAWN THANKS


Am I mistaken? Isn't feedback there for a reason? Don't we leave feedback so other users will know the quality of the seller???? I refuse to withdrawal my negative feedback, and know now why he has so much positive feedback. he bullies people into withdrawal. He won't allow return of the phone unless you take away the feedback. What a jerk.

I don't care about my negative feedback... hopefully other sellers will realize I was just doing what I thought was appropriate. If not, who cares... I can find somewhere else to purchase stuff.

Okay, I'm done. It is getting warmer! YAY! I need it to be summer!

My job is dangerous!

I was working with the third grader I always work with yesterday... He was grumpy and lost his lunch recess for goofing off. He was so mad that he tried running away... luckily I caught him, but as I carried him in he scratched the heck out of my arm! In the picture you probably can't tell how bruised it is, but it really is bruised all the way down. Darn kid!!!! Oh well, I guess it comes with the job description!

Here I am again...

Okay, it is Saturday 10:47 AM. I have the second part of my huge paper due tomorrow at 11 PM. Have I started? Nope. I am such a procrastinator. Grr. I am now working 2 jobs, equal to 60 hours a week, and this paper is just the last thing on my mind. I'll probably write it tomorrow, and get some work done today. I don't know. I'm pretty stressed. I'm ready for summer vacation. School lets out June 1st, then I'm free for 2 1/2 months... well I'll still work my second job, but hey, that's only 20 hours a week. Plus, my mom rented a beach house in Cali for my family in July. I am freaking excited about that! It is for a week over the 4th of July! YAY! My mom is so rad!

I guess sleeping in until 10 was not smart. Oh well.
