All new!

WOW! Things are so new and different! I got all moved in to my apartment. I love it really, I mean it has a few flaws but… overall it’s roomy and there is a lot of storage and stuff! The noise isn’t too bad either! Parker and I are enjoying the place, and Parker definitely likes that we didn’t move too far from his friends. It’s nice being 2 blocks from mom too… Especially since I don’t have a washer and dryer yet!

Friday Parker and I took mom to Texas Roadhouse for her early birthday dinner. It was pretty good, but I was a little disappointed. Usually it is GREAT… but it was a little cold and stuff this time. Oh well… After, we went to Barnes and Noble and bought some Bargain books! Fun!

IMG00057-20100423-1705 I thought I had extra gift bags at home… but, I only had a spongebob bag!!! HAHAIMG00056-20100423-1704 Mom’s b-day

I promised Parker we would go bowling this weekend… So last night we headed over to The Rex. So, we bowled!

At the Rex there is a bounce house… Parker has wanted to do this for quite some time, but I always assumed it was expensive! IT ISN’T! It was only 4 bucks for unlimited time! So… he played in the bounce house for over 2 hours!!!!!!! It was FUN for him (but I did get a little bored) :)

Today I actually cooked something “difficult”! It may not sound difficult to most people… but I made fajitas and invited my mom over for an extended birthday celebration (Her b-day is tomorrow). I marinated the steak for about 8 hours in a YUMMY juice! I mixed lime, tequila, garlic, cumin, oregano, cilantro, and pepper together and poured it over the meat. Then, I cut up yellow, red, and green peppers with onion and fried it all together. It was GOOD!!!! Then, I baked some banana bread and put candles in it for mom’s birthday! What a YUMMY day!

Back to work tomorrow… but good news! There are only 28 school days left until summer vacation! YAY!!!
