The first step...

The first step to addiction treatment is admitting you have a problem. So here it goes... I'm addicted... to.... American Idol. I am powerless over this show. It's so lame, it really is a lame show... but I CAN'T STOP watching!!!!!!
I also need to add that I'm addicted to LOST and Law and Order:SVU. Mmm... Elliot Stabler. Yummy.

Tomorrow is Friday!!!!!! YAYYYYYY!

Brag blog

I wrote my 10 page literature review in 4 hours. I just recieved my grade...... drum roll please...... 90.00 (out of 100.00). I don't know how I pulled it off, but I did! haha, procrastination rocks!

Happy President's Day tomorrow. I get the day off, and I am stoked about it!

Nothing new in my world. Same old stuff, different day. I drank a Diet Coke today. One isn't going to kill me......... right? :) So much for giving up caffiene... Oh well, there are worse things in life... right?

Sad day

Before Christmas I found out a second grader I have worked with off and on has Leukemia. It is called AML Leukemia, it is very fast moving. She wasn't even really sick at first, then her parents took her to the doc because she was dehydrated from the flu and they found out about the AML. I put together a fund raiser at school to raise some money for her and her family. I raised 600 dollars! I was really excited! She came into school with her mom to collect the money yesterday. It was so hard to see her with no hair and a mask over her mouth and nose. I wanted to cry. She is so strong and happy. She was on her way down to SLC to get a spinal tap and another round of chemo. :( I hope she gets better soon!!!!!!

Yep, that's right. I finished an 8 page paper in 3.5 hours! Heck yes! That should be a new record!!!! Now, I will wait for the grade. I'm not expecting miracles.... Just at least a B. haha!

2.5 pages down...

I've written 2.5 pages of my literature review! Only a million more! Well, not a million, but 5 seems like a million right now. Did you know that adult content pages are the 4th most viewed in the workplace????? Holy cow! that just seems crazy!!!!

Okay, break over... back to writing...

Okay, I figured if I wrote in pretty colors I would get motivated to write my paper... haha... yeah, right. I am a master procrastinator! My paper is due at midnight tonight, I have one paragraph written. I have found the 10 articles required, but have not read them all. Reading about Pornography Addiction is depressing... So, instead of writing my paper, I'm writing this blog. I have my Ipod in, jamming to Johnny Cash (Chuck will be so proud), ((("When you get the blues... Get Rhythm...."))) I slept until 10... Withdrawals

I am still caffeine free! That is the biggest news for the day! Although, I am having major withdrawal headaches :)

I watched the movie The Mighty Heart last night. It is about the journalist that was brutally killed in Pakistan (Danny Pearl). It is a true story and the movie was sad! But, I overall didn't like it. For one, Angelina Jolie played the wife who was supposed to be bi-racial. They tried to make her look black, and gave her a crappy cuban accent. They could have picked someone much better to play her role. Also, half the movie was in a foreign language... and no subtitles. I understand it is based in Pakistan... but I need subtitles!!!

I also watched the Perfect Stranger. I had seen it before, but forgot about it. It has Bruce Willis as a bad guy and Hallie Barry as the main character. I really like this movie. There are big twists and turns in it, and it isn't predictable at all! I recommend it! There are a couple parts that I had to look away because of graphic stuff, but nothing too major.

My paper on Pornography Addiction is due tomorrow. Have I started?? Nope!

Guess who's back... back again...

Okay, I haven't had internet for a few days... which is so very frustrating! But I'm back now! YAY! I get to post more useless blogs!

Yesterday it was sunny! The sun was like Prozac to my body! But today, it is snowy again. It is becoming depressing to live in such weather. It is dark all the time... and cold (-5 today).

The paper I'm writing on Pornography Addiction is harder than I thought. There isn't much research about it...

My Pancreatitis is getting bad again. I've been off Caffeine for 2 whole days! That is a serious accomplishment for me!!!

My cats are WAY cute. They went in onto my mom's bed the other day and tucked themselves in. (No joke!) here is a picture to prove it!!!

Aren't they so dang cute! They LOVE to be under the covers... they are very spoiled!!
